Gray’s Eden Sanctuary Boutique Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional, and service‑oriented Bar Attendant to join its Front of House team. This role is central to delivering exceptional beverage service and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Reporting to the Head Waiter, the Bar Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages while ensuring guests feel welcomed, relaxed, and well cared for at all times. The role requires strong knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and food pairings, with the ability to make informed recommendations that elevate each guest’s visit.
Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean, well‑organised, and fully stocked bar, preparing drinks according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines, and ensuring correct glassware and service techniques are always applied. The Bar Attendant will also assist with bar menu presentation, wine list upkeep, stock control, and daily inventory counts in line with hotel procedures.
The role involves close collaboration with the Front of House team, kitchen, and management to ensure smooth service delivery, adherence to food and beverage regulations, and prompt handling of guest requests or enquiries. Attention to detail, hygiene standards, and guest preferences is essential.
