Golden Wrap at Chobe Farms have begun harvesting potatoes an important step in expanding the farm’s crop production activities. This has been enabled by significant investment in specialised potato equipment, including a potato planter and washer imported to support large-scale production. The farm planned to plant approximately 10 hectares of potatoes, supported by upgraded fencing, improved packing and sorting facilities, and enhanced crop protection measures. These investments are designed to improve efficiency, reduce crop losses, and increase market-ready output. The potato harvest is expected to contribute meaningfully to farm revenues while strengthening diversification alongside fish farming, orchards and onion production.
